Former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Mike Eskew retired from UPS at the end of 2007 after serving six years as chairman and chief executive officer. He continues to serve on the Board of Directors.
Eskew graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering. He also completed the Advanced Management Program at the Wharton School of Business. Eskew began his UPS career in 1972 as an industrial engineering manager in Indiana.
Eskew serves as the chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Annie E. Casey Foundation, which is the country's largest foundation dedicated to disadvantaged youth. He also serves on the Boards of Directors of the 3M Corporation, IBM and Eli Lilly. He is the former chairman of the U.S. China Business Council and also served on the President's Export Council.
