UPS Broadens Shipping Technology for Sellers on eBay

Atlanta, August 17, 2009

UPS WorldShip Streamlines Shipment Processing, Speeds Customs Clearance on International Shipments

UPS (NYSE:UPS) today announced that all U.S.-based eBay sellers using eBay Selling Manager Applications now have a direct, free connection from within eBay to the shipping system UPS WorldShip®.

Integration of WorldShip by eBay allows sellers to import their eBay order information into WorldShip and eliminate manual key entry. Then, sellers can easily export shipping data from WorldShip and automatically update their eBay orders with UPS tracking numbers.

Also, eBay sellers can seamlessly process international shipments using UPS PaperlessSM Invoice, an international shipping option accessed within WorldShip. This option allows eBay sellers to submit required commercial invoices electronically, saving paper and speeding Customs clearance for their buyer's orders.

"Direct data transfer of eBay order information to and from WorldShip provides sellers an easy way to ship UPS without the hassle of re-keying information. This frees up precious time for sellers to grow their business," said Jordan Colletta, vice president of customer technology marketing at UPS.

WorldShip is a full-featured, Windows-based shipping software ideally suited to sellers who ship five or more packages per day. With more than 550,000 installations worldwide, WorldShip is one of the most widely deployed transportation software applications in the world.

"The Paperless Invoice capability within WorldShip and the seamless integration to eBay Selling Manager Applications are two great reasons for eBay sellers to take advantage of this professional productivity tool - all at no cost to the seller," added Colletta.
