| October 2, 2007 - Dave Barnes, senior vice president and chief information officer, was honored as the 2007 IT Executive of the Year at Loyola College. As part of the awards program, Barnes made keynote remarks on how information technology supports UPS's key business objectives. This award was inaugurated in 1991 to recognize and honor executives who have made outstanding contributions to their organizations through the integration of information technology and systems to enhance their enterprises' strategic competitiveness.
