The UPS Windward data center near Atlanta houses the largest DB2 database and tracks more packages than any other data center in the world. It incorporates the latest advances in continuous availability, self-sufficiency and disaster avoidance. Built in 1995, the facility was designed to provide increased mainframe capacity and backup facilities for its sister data center at the UPS World Technology Headquarters in Mahwah, New Jersey.
