To recruit and retain qualified student employees by providing education assistance and student loans for college. |

| Eligibility: |
UPS employees at approved locations are eligible for the program on the day they are hired. If a student is already in school and is hired by UPS mid-semester, benefits are available on a pro-rated basis. |

| Education Assistance: |
Benefits cover the cost of tuition, approved mandatory fees, and the cost of books, up to $65 per class. Part-time employees in approved locations receive up to $1,500 per semester and $3,000 per calendar year with a lifetime maximum of $15,000 in assistance. For part-time management employees, benefits increase to $4,000 per calendar year with a lifetime maximum of $20,000. 00. |

| Student Loans: |
In addition to tuition assistance, both management and non-management part-time employees at UPS Earn and Learn locations are eligible for student loans administered by Wells Fargo Education Financial Services. Depending on how long a student is employed by UPS after receiving the loan, the company will pay off the loans up to $8,000 |

| Costs to Student: |
The Earn and Learn program does not pay for failed, withdrawn, or incomplete coursework. If employment terminates while the student is participating in the UPS Earn and Learn program, the student is responsible for the remaining tuition and/or fees owed to the school and for any balance carried on the Wells Fargo loan. |

| Payment: |
At the end of the semester, partnership schools bill UPS directly for the student's tuition and fees. No up front costs are required from students attending partnership schools. If a student chooses to attend a non-partnership school, UPS will reimburse the student at the end of the semester. Students attending non-partnership schools must pay fees and tuition up front. |
