In launching the local hiring effort, UPS will be conducting interviews on Saturday, Dec. 2, at the Doraville and Roswell locations between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Those interested must apply and schedule an interview online at www.upsjobs.com . These positions are paid $8.50 an hour. Holiday hiring will end when UPS's employment needs are met.
UPS anticipates hiring roughly 60,000 seasonal workers nationwide. UPS reinforcements will help deliver an anticipated 15 to 21 million packages a day between now and Christmas.
Holiday employees have an opportunity to apply for a permanent position after Dec. 31. Permanent part-time employees can take advantage of the company's generous health benefits package, 401(k) plan and tuition reimbursement program (in select areas).
