- UPS expanded its UPS Worldwide Express® service to more than 41,000 new postal codes around the world. In Australia, international Express service has been made available to more than 800 additional postcodes in capital cities and country areas nationwide. This service offers customers a guaranteed delivery by noon or 2:00pm, depending on the location.
- UPS expanded its global healthcare distribution facility network to 36 with the opening of a new state-of-the-art facility in Sydney, Australia. It comprises 5,500m2 (59,202 sq. ft.) of total warehouse space which includes a 5 deg C cool room and -20 deg C freezer as well as general air-conditioned storage. The whole facility is controlled by a 24/7 temperature and humidity monitoring system. Sydney’s facility forms an integral part of UPS offering to healthcare customers requiring constant-temperature-controlled logistics for sensitive medical and pharmaceutical products in their supply chain.
