2016

  • UPS announced its service expansion to more than 1,600 postal codes across seven major areas in the Philippines – Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, and Valenzuela (CAMANAVA), Angeles, Cavite, North Luzon, South Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao – through a collaboration with local express, freight and cargo forwarding company Airfreight 2100, Inc. (AIR21). The enhanced services offer customers greater flexibility and convenience through improved transit times by one day, enhanced cut-off times up to five hours, extended pick-up and delivery service to more postal codes across seven areas, and access to UPS’s full suite of technologies and services at AIR21’s retail outlets across the Philippines.

2015

  • UPS announced that it will collaborate with local express, freight and cargo forwarding company Airfreight 2100, Inc. (AIR21) to expand its service to more than 1,600 postal codes across seven major areas in the Philippines – Camanava, Angeles, North Luzon, South Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao and Cavite. This unique collaboration combines UPS’s international reach with AIR21’s local knowledge and expertise to deliver premium quality service to meet local business needs.
  • UPS bolstered its Asia capabilities with a series of service and network enhancements including accelerating intra-Asia transit times by up to one full day across 29 trade lanes connecting 41 markets; deepening and expanding the geographical reach of UPS’s network in four markets covering 27 cities. Geographical reach in Philippines was extended with the addition of 186 new postal codes, businesses will be able to send shipments directly to more locations across the nation than ever before.
